The Meadows park, the open space in the city, is an essential element of the urban environment. It represents many aspect of the city, such as identity and culture.
The Meadows park in Edinburgh is the place, which I pass nearly every day. I have chosen to shoot the empty moment of it at night time under various seasonal and climatic conditions, and to introduce an aesthetic between reality and a dream-like state. This project attempts to explore an alternative possibility of the city, identifying and developing the potential relationship between the city and myself.
It is a document of how I define this city and draw inspiration form the urban environment. However, the images will present an unfamiliar Meadows park, shaped by my personal memory and experience.
